Unretiring
Sort of. I went back to work (January 3, 2012)at my old company as a consultant. The main reason is my bindery business (Single Bound Studios) needs several new pieces of equipment to compete more effectively. Since I’d rather not go into debt or tap my retirement savings I will use the money made from consulting to purchase the new items.
My going back to work won’t affect how fast books get made by Kevin, Mike and Yan. What will be affected is how fast I can design and produce the art for soft cover volumes and art-on-cover projects. There are only so many hours in the day. However, Sonny in Las Vegas helps with cropping, paths and color correction freeing me to work on just on final designs.
